So, you’ve bagged your super cheap copy of the years most expensive game? If you’re signed in to the PSN when you boot the game up there will be a patch ready for you to download. This 1.01 patch was just a bug fix but unfortunately it has introduced another bug where Trophies aren’t being awarded.
There are rumours that re-booting your PS3, ejecting the game disk, even deleting the 1.01 patch will bring Trophies back, I’ve tried all them and none of them worked for me. Infinity Ward however have posted on NeoGAF that they have fixed the Trophy issue and the patch will be available as soon as they can get it to us.
Update.
Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has let everyone know that the Trophy patch is already produced and is expected ASAP, and that a fix for the invite system will be with us by Friday. Cool.

Wow, assuming we get the patch today, that’ll be 2 patches within 24 hours of a game’s ‘official’ release!!! I wonder if that’s some kind of record?

I wait out at midnight for it and then I get home to find out that there’s a trophy problem. I’m glad I only went through the first level on veteran…

After a weird combination of resseting, logging in and out, disc in and out etc they appeared. Anyway, slightly off topic but maybe patch related, has anyone partied up on the PS3 version yet? I’ve managed to connect to the second PS3 in our house ONCE, that’s it!

It’s launch night there are more people playing this online than in the history of any other PS3 game ever, just bare with it for a day or two and I’m sure it’ll be fine.

Ye I’m sure you’re right, at least I hope you are anyway! It’s just hard to stop fiddling with your internet settings and exchanging frantic messages with friends about their issues, party connections always feel like you should be able to do something about them haha
I’ve heard that Xbox shouldl be doing quite a bit better in this regard with it’s dedicated party system which theoretically relieves half the strain of the whole party process. Here’s hoping all will be soon and what an outstandinly designed, thought out and all round polished game this is! Top marks IW.

I loaded up the game, had a system update, then the game updated. Ive not had any problems, notching up the trophies and loving this game. I wasn’t too bothered about the MP side of things but after a few games Im hooked.
My mate at work on the other hand, has had the problems with the trophies so it seems to be random?

I’m on the gualug level and didn’t get trophies until the first washington invasion mission. Also is anyone else having problems getting into parties?

Pretty sure you will have to redo them. Doesnt matter too much though as im sure you would be getting round to doing them again anyway in the natural course of playing the game.

delete the patch, change the date of your ps3 to the 13/10. Download the patch again and boom all working

after you change the date, boot up the game without downloading the patch. Then quit the game and re-start it but download the patch this time.
