Future Firmware update confirmed to bring 3D goodness to PS3

37Sony’s media/investor presentation is goldmine of information for Sony’s 2010 plans, first we got the news there could be a subscription PSN service, followed by Sony’s plans to branch out to non-game software on the Ps3, and now confirmation of the previously rumoured fact that 3D gaming will be coming to the PS3 via a firmware update. Again in the section “5 Key Advantages Of The PS3″ they say that “all PS3 units will be firmware upgradeable to 3D”
This will presumabely be rolled out once devs have had chance to support it, and crucially once Sony get enough 3D capable Bravia’s on shop shelves.
