Tragnarion Studios have announced that their new shooter for Xbox and PS3 will arrive in March. Created in this generations ‘Shoot ‘Em Up Construction Kit’, the Unreal engine, the game is a third person shooter which has been built with online co-op in mind. Apperently, ’four players will each experience a personal story whilst playing together as a squad.’ Game director Omar Salle describes this as a “unique blend of co-op action plus co-op storytelling.”
Further PR blurb reveals the game will have four ‘unique playable characters’ - if you check out the screenshots you will see they are stretching the definition of ‘unique’ - boss fights, puzzles (yay!) and of course, very big guns. Online multiplayer will support up to sixteen players and feature the standard game modes – Death match, Team Death match, Capture the Flag etc.

Coming to PSN and XBLA? Wow, from the screenshots I thought it was a fully-blown blu-ray and DVD release!
This reminds me of the Lost Planet 2 demo I played a while back, which isn’t a bad thing.
Looks great, I’ll keep my eyes peeled for more info on this!

I’d be worried about the visual quality if it was a ‘full-blown blu-ray’ release. The textures are good but they likely wouldn’t fill a blu-ray, maybe a DVD.

for a downloadable title it looks bloody amazing.
looks not far off gears quality imagery there.
and, hallelujah, there’s actually a playable female character, the mix of rhino steroids and testosterone in gears wasn’t my cup of tea.

So am I the only one who thought that looked shite? I take it none of you have seen Trine? oh and just because it’s a PSN title doesn’t mean it can’t look like a blu-ray game because you can download blu-ray games.

A sword would’ve been much better, every shooter has the same type of guns anyway (excluding all Sci-fi shooters)
