The list is out for this week’s new films to stream download and then play on the PlayStation Network Video Delivery Service.  There’s a few new films to buy and a few new films to rent, but more interestingly are the first films that support more than just stereo.  Yes, really.  If you’re looking for recommendations, The Beach is a great film which I’m particularly fond of (and a massive fan of Garland’s book) but apart from that there’s not really that much that I’d personally go for.  Still, your milage may vary, so let us know if you’re planning to watch any of these this weekend.

To Buy:

  • Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country
  • The Beach
  • The Exorcist
  • G-Force
  • Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen
  • 88 Minutes
  • Eagle Eye
  • Ghost Town
  • Hotel For Dogs
  • I Love You, Man
  • Dead Snow
  • Aeon Flux
  • Orphan
  • I Am Legend
  • Lucky You
  • Slumdog Millionaire

To Rent:

  • The Beach
  • The Exorcist
  • Public Enemies
  • The Uninvited
  • X-Men Origins: Wolverine
  • Scooby-Doo! Pirates Ahoy!
  • Dead Snow
  • Cheri
  • Year One
  • Tormented
  • Starsky & Hutch
  • The Last House on the Left

And those films that are now in 5.1 surround sound:

  • Ice Age
  • Dude, Where’s My Car?
  • Sideways
  • Angels & Demons
  • Trick or Treat
