20According to French website Jeux Video (via CVG) Ubisoft may well be taking on FIFA and PES by making their very own football game.
Apparently the French publisher have turned to “several English clubs” to help with the game’s development; Liverpool FC were named along with captain Steven Gerrard. If this information is accurate then we might also be able to believe that Ubisoft’s sporting venture may be with us before the year is up. Ubisoft have yet to comment.
Last year’s FIFA 10 was the dominant football game but can a third brand a) bring anything new and b) persuade current FIFA/PES fans to ‘jump ship’?
