Disney Calls Arc “Gem”

39Over at the 2010 DICE Summit, President of Disney Interactive Media Group, Steve Wadsworth has called Sony’s Motion Controller Gem in his opening talk, presumably accidentally.
In an interesting, Disney-focused keynote Wadsworth reverted to the old-school name for the controller, which has also been called Wand, Arc, Pink Delight and Fiddle-me-do. By us.
This isn’t common – chances are nobody at Disney knows what the controller will be called, and perhaps hasn’t been keeping up with rumours lately. Either that, or somebody’s testing the market reaction.
