Zipper Interactive have revealed that they are still committed to M.A.G despite the fact that they are developing the new SOCOM game which was announced tonight.

Speaking on the US Blog in answer to a users comment, which incidentally said “poor poor MAG”, Jeremy Dunham, Senior Community Manager, Zipper Interactive said,

We’re still 100% committed to supporting MAG. There’s some crossover here at the studio, but we have dedicated teams to each.

Furthermore when another user commented that “MAG is now officially DEAD!… The experiment known as MAG is going to fade very quickly” the senior community manager said,

No way, we have some exciting things for MAG coming up and for a long time after.

Other comments which he answered on the blog came in relation to the game’s release, which it was revealed will be released this fall.

So there we go, M.A.G is not going anywhere and will receive Zipper Interactive’s full support, meaning that both games will live alongside each other when SOCOM is released later this year.
