Modnation Racers developer United Front Games have been speaking to Joystiq regarding the game and they have revealed some interesting information.
First off the developer revealed how to go about unlocking new content when playing the game, this will be done by publishing, sharing, downloading, voting and being a participant in the community.
Other information revealed was that the load times and frame rate have both dramatically improved since the beta, which should no doubt please everyone since this was one of the major complaints from the demo. The developer also said that they are considering ways to integrate the new Sony PlayStation Move controller into the experience, although this was something still being investigated.
Furthermore, it was also revealed that there will be no actual interactivity between PS3 and PSP version, although once you have been online with both versions you will unlock exclusive content for the PSP version.
Finally it was revealed that the PSP version has its own campaign, with upwards of thirty races and thirty cutscenes that take you through the story. Some of these tracks will be similar to the PS3 version, while there will also be exclusive PSP tracks as well.
It all sounds rather promising really and with the game’s release only a few months away it seems like it is time to get excited.
