Trophy World: 17/04/10

Welcome back to Trophy World! Sadly, it hasn’t been a great week on the trophy front, with only 3 lists posted this week. I still remain optimistic that things will pick up, but have no idea as to when. Anyways, enjoy!

• Magic Orbz Jungle DLC
• Sam & Max: The Devil’s Playhouse Episode 1 – The Penal Zone
• Lead and Gold

Magic Orbz is a brickbreaker game for the modern audience, from the lovely guys over at Creat. This is the third DLC pack for the game, indicative of how Creat support their games post-release. It looks good for those of you who want a bit more from Magic Orbz. The trophies don’t look simple, and going by the previous trophies in the game, you will need quite a bit of luck to get them. You can beat the shaman!

The series of Sam and Max is one of the lovely adventure games made by Telltale games, master of said genre. This is the first Sam and Max released on PSN, and this is just episode one of this five-episode season, which is the third season in the series so far (I need to stop saying ‘season’ so much). Seems like you should be able to get them all if you manage to finish the episode and be a little adventurous throughout. This is waiting on my hard drive right now and I’m itching to play it…

Lead and Gold is a forthcoming online-only multiplayer shooter from the guys at Fatshark. If you liked the idea of Battlefield 1943, then you will probably like this as well. The only problem with games like these is that they live or die depending on how many people are playing online, which is rather unfortunate. The trophies look quite interesting, with a lot of varied tasks necessary to complete if you wish to get ‘em all. The gold is a tad disappointing though and I doubt many will play the game for that long. Though maybe some cowboys out there will play this to death like they did Team Fortress 2…

The Sam and Max games are known for their comedic genius, so I’ll definitely be on the lookout for these (provided I understand them)… see you next week!
