Apparently all the information on Marvel vs. Capcom 3 is embargoed but as Capcom haven’t sent us anything I’m not breaking any embargoes and can tell you about it. According to the Event Hubs website the game will be previewed at E3 this June. Other details leaked are:
• ‘Confirmed characters’ are Wolverine, Spider-Man, The Hulk, Magneto and Storm.
• The Marvel vs. Capcom 3 development team said they will be blowing fans out of the water with the sheer number of characters this game includes on the disc.
• The game will be 2D fighter, a cross between the original Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and Street Fighter 4.
• Release date is pencilled in for late 2010, early 2011 on PS3 and Xbox and will run in 1080P.
• It will be a disc-based release and feature unlockables.
