Move Is Laggy. World Ends.

Sony recently held a wee event down under, and the Australian press got their hands, literally, on PlayStation Move.  According to iTWire, though, it’s not all good.

The reporter cites two demos that he got the chance to playtest, archery and bug swatting, but despite nice graphics the ugly question of lag still managed to raise its head.

“This game highlighted the slight lag between actions and on-screen reaction,” says the article. “Sony says this is 22 ms, and it is a little noticeable.”

“On the plus side however the accuracy of movement puts this motion controller above the Wii experience.”

We reckon PlayStation Move is out this September.  By which time any such latency will have been ironed out.
