Stunt arenas and karting, eh? Well, given the physics heavy nature of Gran Turismo, stunt mode is hardly likely to be jumping over buses and dodging rings of fire – no, we reckon we’ll be seeing Gymkhana, the sort of hardcore drifting and ‘stunt’ driving favoured by the likes of Ken Block in which drivers pull off ridiculously long slides, spins and parking maneuvers.
Of course, this is just our assumption, but given the structured gymkhana scene in Japan (and a gymkhana track in Gran Turismo 4) it’s certainly the most likely. And if it’s not this, then I’d still bet my hat it’s not going to be anything like Joe Danger. Shame, really, I’d love to plunge a 600hp Japanese sportscar into a pool of piranhas but it’s not going to happen.

Unreal … That poor car actually sounds like it’s in pain! Be amazing if that’s really what the stunt arena means …

Fantastic video. Let’s hope this kind of stunt driving makes it in to the game!

I hope your right, I cannot see how else they would implement “stunt” driving into GT.

He didn’t fail, granted he didn’t do well, but he was only on for 2 maybe 3 rounds of the WRC. This guy is an amazing driver, I’ve been following him for a few years now. On the Rally America circuit it’s either him or Travis Pastrana on the top step of the podium. Both will be in WRC in the next few years and dominating as well.

If you didn’t watch that because of the DC shoes connection, you just mugged yourself. It is an epic video
Product placement is everywhere anyway. Look at all the billboards and stuff in GT4. It’s in real racing so it’s just more authentic to have it in game anyway

I love DC shoes. There was something about cars In the video but that got in the way of the DC lovelyness.
