Owners of Joe Danger will find the next time they boot up the game a patch will download a dangerous sized portion of new features. We rather liked the game, giving it 9/10 in our review. Sean Murray at Hello Games said,
“Now you can save, playback and upload your greatest stunt spectaculars to YouTube. After all, what’s the point of being the world’s greatest stuntman if you can’t show your friends?”
Key features of the new patch include:
The studio have also launched a level building competition with the best to be showcased on joe-danger.com.

Level sharing was the biggest thing missing I thought, its great to see a developer listening and responding to feedback so quickly!

I was in the top 10 for a few levels for a couple of weeks after launch, couldn’t work out how someone managed to more than double my scores when I utilised almost every patch of ground until the multipliers stopped though. Maybe now with the youtube uploads I will!

I’m 6th on one of the levels, and pretty much inside the top 50 on most of them! Love JD :-D

I’ve scored over a billion on certain levels. The key is being able to jump without using ramps (taps nose…).

Great patch , i will fire this up later . Best addition has to be the ability to download anybodys created levels rather than just from people on your friends list .

I’ve not picked this up yet as have ‘issues’ with digital content but am constantly very tempted. Fair play to the chapps at Hello Games, seems like they’re making a cracking effort and considering I think there’s only 4 of them they should be applauded. I heard a podcast interview with one of them (think it was Sean) and he came across as a really humble, honest, decent bloke. Here’s hoping the tesam have a bright and successful future ahead of them and when there’s 4 of them producing games of this high calibre the sky is the limit.

I used to be extremely apprehensive with regard to digitally downloaded games but there is some real gems out there, you really should try a few, I would suggest (a few of my personal favourites are) Shatter, Joe Danger, Monkey Island, WipEout HD, Critter Crunch, The PixelJunk back catalogue … ok, so I named more than a few but I would agree with cc when he says you’ve potentially missed around 50% of what this generation has to offer.
Erk! Wallowtext. :D
