Sony have announced their line-up for this month’s Tokyo Games Show, where everyone fully expected the publisher to be showing off The Last Guardian and letting us get our hands on it, finally. Except, of course, they’ve missed it off the list of playable games.
Sure, there’s a full stack of Move titles, the new Castlevania Lords of Shadow, Motorstorm Apocalypse, LittleBigPlanet 2, SOCOM 4, Killzone 3 and the Sly Cooper Collection, but surely Team Ico have got to the stage where we can actually play their follow up to Shadow of the Colossus?
Still, there’s hope for something exciting, the list says there’s one ‘unannounced’ title for the PS3 to be revealed at TGS.

Could the Red Dead Redemtion listing be LA Noire? Seems strange they are showing it. Unless of course it’s more DLC.

I never expected TLG to be playable at TGS, I’m more than happy if there’s a new trailer and some information from Ueda.

i really want them to show us the new psp because apprently they showed a selected audience to play with it for abit at gamescom in germany they have done this before with the psp they showed it to a selected audience then in a few months they revealed it to the public.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see Last Guardian pull a no show sadly, but given there was clearly gameplay footage in that E3 2009 trailer it’s hard to believe they have nothing else to show at this point.
The unannounced game would likely have to be first party surely? So I’m going to guess it’ll likely be something original rather than a sequel.

For goodness sake this Last Guardian malarky would be getting bothersome were I not to love Team Ico as much as I do. Let’s get some announcements going. I appreciate Rome wasn’t built in a day and perfection takes time but there comes a point where concerns start to creep in given how long it’s taking to get some more news out. Don’t let us down Ueda!
