UK Charts: Week Ending 9th October

It seems that gamers have voted with their wallets, as PES 2011 fails to knock FIFA 11 from the top spot.  Bemused by flying balls and lack of zombies, Dead Rising 2 watches from third place.  F1 2010 and Halo continue their slow slip down the charts, and it’s good to see Castlevania and Enslaved make an impact.

Our Enslaved review went live this morning; why not have a read?

Wii Party makes its debut at number ten, accompanied by a hilarious advert featuring pop group JLS; oh the hand gestures!  Despite the demo not floating many boats, WRC does enough to chart at number eleven.

Oddest event of the week is Modern Warfare 2 jumping up eight places.  Surely everyone in the world has at least three copies by now?

  2. I don’t have any copies of it. Yay

    • Me neither, or any other Call of Duty. I’m proud of myself =P

  3. I wonder how long the top two will stay the same.

    • Not long I bet, 3 weeks till GT and COD:BO, those 2 will sell in there millions, guaranteed

      • I forgot it was only a few weeks till GT5.

  4. Classic Fifa…GOOALLLLL!!! Anywho, MW2s jump is probably because people are rebuying it in the build up to to Black Ops.

  5. Not so good week for Sports Champions :(

  7. No surprises in that list but I’m a touch disappointed Enslaved isn’t a bit higher. Great game and it deserves a little more love.
