We’re playing through as much of Fallout: New Vegas as we can before our review tomorrow but we were just interrupted by melodic chime of an email arriving in our inbox. Bethesda are letting us know about the plans for the first lot of downloadable content for this week’s hotly anticipated post-apocalyptic jaunt.
According to the press release:
The first downloadable content for Fallout: New Vegas will be available this holiday season through Xbox LIVE® for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft.
No mention of Sony’s side of the multiplatform release getting any loving but we suspect that this will possibly just be a timed exclusive as it was for 2008’s Fallout 3.
Fallout: New Vegas is released tomorrow in North America and on Friday in the EU. We’re currently under review embargo so we can’t tell you what we think of the game but call back to TSA at 3PM tomorrow and bask in the radioactive glow of our full review.

so i guess i might get the goty edition about a year after its release again
also i have just got oblivion goty and was perplexed to discover that not all the dlc was included so i search through the PS store for anything oblivion related to find nothing but a shitty trailer
not a big deal mind as im knee deep in the game with no end in site but still its a completely wank faced thing to do
also bethesda are lazy narcissistic incompetent fucktards and need a new(good) engine as seeing the same treasure chest over and over is acceptable in oblivion as everything is made of wood and it fits
but in fallout it just looks retarded also why is there a random box of railway spikes in a toy factorys office furniture ITS STUPID
the whole game stinks of brilliant potential but fucked by pigshit eating troglodytes with less conscious thought than a plate of kebab vomit
although i would be quite interested in a new elder scrolls if it comes

Only thing I’m not happy with is that fallout comes out on the 22nd and im going to Vegas on November 11th …. Ahhhh real Vegas or wasteland Vegas hmmm,mm.

Ah well. Playing through Borderlands GOTY at the moment, and I’m sure there’ll be enough of the main disc of New Vegas to keep me entertained until the DLC comes out (as long as it does eventually!). They’ll likely have to patch the shit out of it on PS3 before thinking about DLC anyway. Although I never had as much trouble as most people seemed to with Fallout 3. Had the odd annoying freeze but it wasn’t every five minutes odd like some people say.

im just gonna wait for the GOTY edition like i did with fallout 3. much better value and because im not a huge fan of rpgs, i dont mind not getting it day 1.after all i only bought fallout 3 a month ago.

I quite literally need this game asap lol hence why it’s costing me £100 on launch! £35 from shopto to get it early and £70 from game for the limited edition. Oh yeah and the official collectors guide for £17 from amazon so a lot more than a ton!!
Well worth it IMO. Oh I wont even open the guide till ive finished the game once.

I can’t see how buyig a guide is cheating. For me, it’s the best way to get the most out of a game, especially for RPGs. And anyway, guides are often just a foundation for skills and techniques you can improve by playing yourself.

well when they did the q and a thing on psblog last week they said they have big plans for dlc for new vegas but they werent gonna go into it at the moment, i dont think they would answer that question on a sony webby if the dlc was xbox exclusive
