Castle Crashers Coming to EU PSN Tomorrow

Confirming via Twitter, SCEE’s Ross McGrath (drofl337) has revealed that the oft-delayed Castle Crashers is finally coming to PSN tomorrow. A hit on XBLA, the side-scrolling beat-up-em has been the subject of numerous scheduling woes, each week’s Store update comment section consistently lighting up with queries about its absence.

But if you’re not one of the many people awaiting the game, there’s probably something else you will want tomorrow. Ross tweets:

“Tomorrow on the EU PSN Store – probably the largest single content update of the year. And yes, now with added Castle Crashers. “

Brace yourself for a cornucopia of digital riches.

    I didn’t like it much… the graphics were great and the gameplay was okay…but it doesn’t have the charm of playing a classic Capcom beat’em up…

  7. This game looks like the other wierd trash that 99% of downloadable games are.

    The only reason everyone ‘wants’ it is because ‘Oh nOeZ, XbLa aNd dA AmErIcUn PeE-eSs-EnN Haz iT!!11!!1!1!!11!

    • You are wrong. This game is one of the best games available on the store. If you like side scrolling brawlers, then this one is a must. And no, for us mature gamers, the Xbox and american PSN have nothing to do with it.
      If you really think that 99% of the games on the store is weird trash you are just plain ignorant. Or maybe born to late to appreciate the old-school design of those games.

      • I’m a big fan of the “weird trash” on PSN, some of it has been very good :)
        Not a fan of side-scrolling brawlers though, so I’ll probably give this one a miss I think.
