We’ve known for some time now that Sackboy would be bouncing his way back onto our PS3s in January 2011 after an unfortunate – though thankfully short – delay. Now we know exactly when. LittleBigPlanet 2 will be released on Wednesday the 19th of January across mainland Europe, Thursday the 20th of January in Australia and New Zealand, and on Friday the 21st of January in the UK and Ireland.
In other news, there will be a demo of the game on the store tomorrow. We assume you knew that already, however.

Going through a dry spell with games at the moment, the sheer amount of things I could do with this game could make me stop playing games altogether.
