UK Chart: Week Ending 15th January

In a familiar looking tussle, Black Ops has once again taken the top spot in the UK chart, knocking off resident goal-hanger FIFA 11. Surely everyone has a copy or ten by now? DC Universe Online impresses with a top ten place (it came second in the PS3 only chart, and in at number four in the PC chart). Elsewhere the landscape is a similar story to last week, with GT5 hanging on in there, and a couple of Key Kinect titles jumping their way up the charts.

New games are coming though; we can almost smell them. At least we hope that’s what the smell is.

  1. DC Universe might have done even better, if not for supply shortages. SOE have apologised to consumers in the UK and promised to have more stock here by the end of the week, explaining that they didn’t anticipate this level of demand. Bet you Blizzard are watching this with a very interested eye.

    • Impressive? Yes…..Tedious? Yes.

  3. Just Dance & Just Dance 2’s performance is incredible, has there ever been anything like it in gaming?

    • Dr Kawashima’s Brain training lasted in the top 10 overall charts for almost 100 weeks, from what I know.

    • Errmm yes. Mario Kart, New Super Mario Bros, Brain Training, Wii Sports, Wii Fit Plus, Call of Duty games, all the Pokemon games, a lot of sports games.

      Impressive? Yes. Unique? Not even close.

    • FIFA? Cod? Wii Fit?

      Impressive for a dancing game though, but saying theres nothing like its run in gaming is a bit off…

  7. Black Ops? Don’t have it and not planing on picking it up, before I can get it for under 10£, which properly is never. Has no interest in MP.

  8. Nothing shocking for me… pretty much what I would expect. I was surprised to see Kinect Sports so high… figured it would be on there, just not that high up the list. :)

  10. next week can we also have a able without the crappy wii games?

    apart from that all the games i got for xmas are still in the top ten :)
