The BBFC surprised the gaming world a while back by revealing that Killzone 3 has at least 70 minutes worth of cutscenes. While the story and voice acting in the previous iterations certainly weren’t bad, they were hardly as polished as the look and feel of other aspects in the game.
That may be changing in Killzone 3, as Guerrilla is looking to take the storytelling to new heights, something we’ll discuss in depth in our review which will be hitting TheSixthAxis very soon.
Below, there’s a short snippet of the ‘behind the scenes’ video that comes with the Helghast Edition of Killzone 3. It definitely shows there’s a lot of thought and emotion being pushed into the plot this time around, and you won’t have to wait too long to see it first hand.

A mo-cap game without Nolan North in it? What is this? Opposite day? ;-)
In all seriousness though, it’s great to see they have listened to the fans (and the critics) and decided to really embrace the story line this time – really looking forward to this one!

Seriously looking forward to this game! Buying it day one, even if I have to sell body parts to get it…

It’s got Day One written all over it… Seriously, with every little video clip I see, it just keeps getting better and better.

Day one purchase for me. Looking alot more epic compared to KZ2 as well, awesome!
I might even buy some the gear to use the move. This and DS extraction is tempting me.
