Sucker Punch rocked the interwebs late yesterday by revealing that inFamous 2 would be getting UGC (user generated content) in the form of custom levels/missions and mini-games. Below you’ll find a handful of new screens for inFamous 2, a few of which display a closer look at the level creator you’ll be crafting all that UGC with. Have a look and let us know what you think.

How interesting. I wonder what the ease of use is for the editor. Could be a tough thing to pull off.

I’m guessing it will take a bit of skill to simply create a ‘decent’ level and a bit of practice to use, but it wont be too hard

These types of screenshots lack a feel of authenticity, and leave me with no real impression of how the game will turn out.
I’m one of those that weren’t too impressed by the first one, though I admittedly only played the demo. It simply didn’t make me want to play it, though I liked the premise.

Wow, that looks like a proper old school level creator. Will be interesting to see if they can pull it off.

I wonder if they’ll go the little big planet collectable route where by the more blast shards you collect the more items you unlock to create with? That would actually give me an excuse to stop being lazy and go find them!

I was getting the game anyway. The user generated content is just icing on the cake.
I’m pretty shocked something like this could be kept underwraps for two years w/o leaks or rumors.
