More PlayStation Store goodness has arrived, following on from yesterday‘s already rather bumper outing. The Spring Offers continue and there’s a few new demos to try, including Patapon 3 for the PSP.

@PlayStationEU tweeted about it yesterday at about 12 (noon) ish “Update on the Welcome Back offer content: it is in the final stages of testing and will be available to download very soon.”

I think they want the first updates away, so the Welcome Back package doesn’t “compete” with sales from these updates and also to ease the pressure on the store.
Nothing there for me thankfully. I really would like my welcome back pack though, that ps+ that was promised to me, plus the free game please. Also, how do I register for the free id protection package before its too late?
Final Fantasy IV – Complete Collection (£27.99/€34.99)
Are they mad? That’s a crazy price for an old game. I don’t think the additional content is worth that price. Don’t get me wrong I’d love to buy this but the price point needs to be lower. The UMD version is £9.99 on amazon at the moment.
That’s a ridiculously low price on Amazon…
It’s between €35 and €50 everywhere I’ve seen it on the street in Ireland.
And it’s not one old game, but three games, one of which is new and links the other two.
So it’s a good price in my opinion.
Although Amazon have clearly beaten it, and I think I know where I’ll buy it, if I decide to break my rule of no more UMDs that is.
I think think it’s overpriced for ports and sprite updates for really old games. I hear that one is just a gap fill and takes approx. 4 hours to finish.
It’s a shame because I really want it but I can’t justify that price (I have a PSP go so the UMD isn’t an option for me sadly).
Anything under £20 and it would’ve been an instant buy for me.
£27.99 is more than I pay for most brand new PS3 games that have original content!
Nothing for me today but after an awesome update yesterday i’m not complaining. The store also seems to be running better today so thats a good thing at least.

Completely agree with this policy if true , they need to look after the devs first . our jobs aren’t under threat because of the outage .

Nope hoopiness, not like that. I rarely view the playstation website, I want Sony to contact me with precise details of how to sign up for the scheme.

Same, although I’m tempted by the lower price for Ferrari: The Race Experience.

Probably the best thing on the whole list to be fair. (Shame there’s no Travelling Wilburys – I love me a super-band).

I did not expect a -meh- update at this point, but whatever. Some good stuff should be coming up real soon.

Nothing too eye-catching on that list, I just want my free games, surely it can’t be long now…
Also: “Lunar: Silver Star Harmony – (was – £9.99/€12.99 now – £15.99/€19.99)”
I assume that’s the wrong way round (or has a sale ended?)
