28The briefest of nuggets: the PlayStation Network will be down for maintenance from 5pm BST tonight until around 7pm, as confirmed by the official Twitter account.
No explanation as to why, but any overrun will affect our Brink Meet which kicks off an hour later.
PlayStation apologise for the short notice.

PLEASE don’t stop the Brink meet from occurring, missed last weeks due to illness, and really looking forward to it. I also have black ops to play with my ex gf afterwards so don’t stay down for long…

Just turned the PS3 on at 5.15. The store is down but the PSN seems fine and can play online

Every time there is psn maintenance I can still play online. Never once has it prevented me, always just prevents store access and account management

Read this about 6 o clock, logged on fine? My brother logged in aswell about half five, fine?
Every time in the past 2 years when there’s a last minute announcement about psn being down I can always log in fine! (well apart from the easter downtime lol)
