Looks like earlier rumours of some downloadable content for Gran Turismo 5 might hold some weight.
Speaking on Twitter, Polyphony boss Kazunori Yamauchi has said that updates to the game are “in preparation” with bug fixes arriving first, then feature updates. DLC, according to his message, will “probably follow”.
“We’ll make sure to live up to expectations,” said a (translated) follow up Tweet. “It’s quite an effort.”
“We have to do nothing but our best.”
His comments sit at complete odds with the way Microsoft and Turn 10 are pimping out Forza 4, which will no doubt run with a fairly regular DLC schedule and plenty more communication with customers.
The battle, as they say, is on.

I keep umming and ahhing about this at the moment. I really want a decent racing game and Motorstorm:A definately didn’t do anything for me so its going to be a toss-up between GT5 and F1 2010 at the moment,

F1 2011 is around the corner.
GT5 is better than 2010 by far IMO. but I know lots would disagree

so much missing from a game that was five years in the making, dont get me wrong I love the game but it could of been so much more.. I just cant see where the five years went…They needed another two years to make it right 7 years to make is just plain not acceptable
