Joe Danger: The Movie. Sounds fab, right? Getting all those 80’s movies into one game and bundling it all up with some Hello Games goodness?
Well, as promised, it was playable at Gamescom, and here’s the proof:
Looks bloody brilliant, and yes, it’s playable with a 360 controller – take that how you will…

Cheapskate.

It got reduced to a fiver a while back (standard discount, not plus) – You definitely should have gotten it then.
Awesome game.

It has mine carts. Come on, now. ;)

This is a weird one, fella. It really is a carbon copy from what I can see. It’s leaving me deflated yet the moment I see Indiana Jones style mine-cart racing I feel my inner-voice shouting “kill all who stand in your way to get this game!” :-)

The bike levels look just as fun as the first game, but I’m guessing with the mine carts that you can’t go backwards? Do you have any control over its speed or is it more to do with having quick reflexes as it keeps rolling downhill?

Im really impressed with their style. That kind of bubbly cartoon style usually doesn’t mesh well, but Hello Games made it feel cohesive and exciting. I very much so look forward to this :D
