CoD: Black Ops Has The Best Ending Ever

27Guinness World Records have released a list showing the 50 best video game endings of all time, as voted for by 13,519 gamers. Call of Duty: Black Ops tops that list. The top 5 also included Halo: Reach, Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, CoD: Modern Warfare 2 and God of War.
“Everyone has an opinion on how to end a game whether it’s an epic boss fight, a clever plot twist or a 90-minute movie.” said Gaz Deaves, the Gaming Editor for Guinness World Records 2012 Gamer’s Edition. “This list recognises some of the greatest endings and hopefully will get gamers talking about what are their favourites and why.”

This list is not accurate at all!
It’s just people probably voting their favourite games… instead of favourite endings.
Since, there is a great deal of CoD players, they probably voted a CoD game which had the best ending… amongst CoD games.

You know what have the best ending? Limbo and/or Braid. I love the endings that makes you think deeply on what the whole thing was about

Black Ops was a great ending. Brilliant story too, right out of Hollywood. Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood should have been higher.

It may of had a good ending, i couldnt offer my opinion as i cant remember it, but to say it’s the best ending ever is a bit too far. It may deserve a place on the list but definately not at number 1.

This list just shows that Devs don’t even have to worry about decent story telling.
one of my favourite endings is Halo: Reach though, even though most people may argue about Halo, alot of people don’t like it. But that last fight really brought me close to the struggle as i really tried to survive, knowing i was going to die and that the planet was getting glassed.
