Thanks to the PlayStation Blog for completely mixing up the formatting this week (and we didn’t get a list through from SCEE) so this one’s a little bit fragmented until we work out a way to translate the tables if this is how Sony are doing the updates from now on.
So, er, in terms of PlayStation 3 games you’ve got BioShock 2, Choplifter all the Jak and Daxter games (including a bundle deal) and the Killzone 3 multiplayer portion we mentioned earlier. There’s a demo of FIFA Street and the new Naruto game too.

Look out for more PS2 ‘Classics’ too – BCV: Battle Construction Vehicles, Leaderboard Golf, Stock Car Crash and – er – WWII: Soldier and the second and third Resident Evil games on PS1, which are also free on Plus. There’s loads of avatars and the usual Rock Band stuff too.

RE 2&3, finally! I’ll pick both games up plus the discounted RE:CV (50% off for buying RE4) for a tidy £23.97 and I can at last retire my poor Dreamcast that is currently disassembled on my living room floor just so it plays games correctly lol :) I’ll probably pick a £25 card up from GAME(over) using my store credit so I can get an Uncharted avatar at the same time :)

If I download RE from the plus can I load it up using the PS1 saves from the PS3? My RE saves is on the PS3 from the PS1 original game which I played tons of times over the years. (8 times to be exact lol)

I tried this with Metal Gear Solid (I believe) and it didn’t seem to work. Whether things have changed with later patches however I’m not sure.

Download it and delete so it stays on your account (but only playable while subscribed to plus) in case your disc breaks.

Happy about the resident evils. 2 is probably one of my favourite ever games. I understand psone games dont work on Vita yet but are accessible via remote play. Is this true? I have had my Vita delivered today and can’t play until I get home from work.

PS1 games can’t be played on Vita yet, from what Sony said they are focusing on getting all PSP games working on Vita first.
