Ah, so that’s why Electronic Arts are the worst company in America, they’ve been snuggling up to the gays.
GamesIndustry.Biz reports that “several thousand” letters and emails protesting at the inclusion of same sex or LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender) content in various games including latest mega-smash Mass Effect 3.
Letters have been sent to many members of EA’s executive team and there are threats to boycott their games. Some of the letters suggest EA has been pressured into adding gay relationships to its games and the company is ‘forcing’ children to be exposed to the content.
Most of the letters come from Florida where the Florida Family Association has set up an email campaign as it is possible in Star Wars: The Old Republic to create “Darth RuPaula, a combination of Darth Vader, one of the most popular Star Wars characters, and RuPaul, the renown transgender cross dresser.”
Got to laugh, haven’t you?
Electronic Arts issued the following statement:
“EA has not been pressured by any groups to include LGBT characters in our games. However, we have met with LBGT groups and sponsored industry forums to discuss content and harassment of players in online forums. In short, we do put options for same-sex relationships in our games; we don’t tolerate hate speech on our forums.”
The FFA say “There were no LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender) characters in any of the Star Wars movies.” Perhaps not, but they seem to have overlooked Ziro The Hutt, Jabba’s rather gay uncle who appeared in The Clone Wars, a TV show for children.
Also, C3-PO – come on, obvious or what?
Of course it would help if any of the content that people are protesting about is erotic. It’s not, it’s about as exciting as two Ken dolls trying to get jiggy.

Who or what is Sodom? As i’ve not a clue. Unless they meant Saren but i don’t think Saren was anti gay, just anti shepard.

IIRC Sodom was the (likely fictitious) biblical town in which Lot lived. He was visited by Angels (uh huh) who a mob wanted to rape. Rather than allow that, Lot offered up one of his daughters for rape by the mob instead, averting a crisis and a spot of nastiness. What a lovely God.
