Get Loads Of PSP Games Dead Cheap

Ghost of Sparta for seven quid.

Yes, Sony should be concentrating on the Vita, but – you know – lots of people still have their PSPs going strong, and to celebrate this peculiar state of affairs, Sony have dropped the prices of a load of first party games on the PSN Store.

Amusingly, the Blog says that some of them are even PS Vita compatible, but leaves it up to you to check the Store to see which ones are.  So we’ll do the same.

Regardless, Ghost of Sparta is utterly fabulous.

Should be pointed out that the PS EU blog says this list is only *some* of the titles that are on sale (looks like they’ve just listed the titles dropped to £6.99), can’t wait to get home to my PSP and see what else is on offer!

The new prices won’t be live until the normal store update tomorrow. But the price drops are all permanent yay :)

Well some are finally at a good price *cough Key of Heaven. Echoshift and White Knight Chronicles.

Great for PSV basically, but better there’s even more at the store near the same price and they’re RPGs! \o/

Very interested in WKC Origins. Is it compatible to the Vita? 8€ is a very nice price!

I quite enjoyed WKC1 and still have 2 sitting at home (WKC2 is a proper bargain since you get WKC1 with it. Got around 50 hours of gameplay out of the first game itself!)
I’m actually a fan of these grindy JRPGs. That’s probably the reason why I think FFXI Online is the best MMO out there… :D

I got the UMD version, but suffered because of the controls. If it works on the Vita and I can map the other stick….

There is, though the save is tied to the system.

Awesome. I was going to pick some of these titles up for my Vita last week. Luckily I didnt. Are they big file sizes for PSP titles?

I’ve only played the first GOW game, is it advisable to play the second and third before the PSP titles or are they free from later spoilers?

        You got it the wrong way round. The order for the series is;

        Chains of Olympus
        GoW
        Ghost of Sparta
        GoW II
        GoW III

Gangs of London is just like the Getaway isn’t it? Might get it depending on it’s size, only got a 1GB memory card for my PSP. Might see how big Logans Shadow is too, enjoyed the demo of that.

Correct – its a great game although not sure how it has aged. There’s also zombie mode, and other mini-games such as darts!
