FIFA’s reign at the top has been brought to an end. Or interrupted, at least. DmC Devil May Cry has managed to enter the charts in first place, while the rest of the top ten hasn’t changed much at all. FIFA clings on for second, ahead of Black Ops II and Far Cry 3. Need for Speed Most Wanted holds on to its position from last week in fifth with Just Dance 4 also holding at sixth.
The highest platform exclusive is Football Manager 2013, moving up to seventh. Microsoft has one Xbox 360 exclusive in the top twenty thanks to the enduring appeal of Forza Motorsport 4 but both Forza Horizon and Halo 4 have dropped out of the top twenty.
Still no Wii U exclusives making an impact on the charts. Perhaps a price cut on those would help, they seem to be routinely priced at £5-£10 more than new games on other consoles.
Here’s the top 20:
- DMC Devil May Cry
- FIFA 13
- CALL OF DUTY: BLACK OPS II
- FAR CRY 3
- NEED FOR SPEED MOST WANTED
- JUST DANCE 4
- FOOTBALL MANAGER 2013
- HITMAN ABSOLUTION
- THE ELDER SCROLLS V: SKYRIM
- ASSASSIN’S CREED III
- LEGO THE LORD OF THE RINGS
- WWE ’13
- DISHONORED
- SONIC & ALL STARS RACING TRANSFORMED
- SKYLANDERS GIANTS
- FORZA MOTORSPORT 4
- LEGO BATMAN 2: DC SUPER HEROES
- MEDAL OF HONOR: WARFIGHTER
- NBA2K13
- BORDERLANDS 2
Edit: Apologies for a previous error in these listings that quoted the developer and publisher of Need for Speed Most Wanted as being in the next few chart positions. I’m off to get more coffee and think about what I’ve done.

Glad to see DMC is selling well. Such an awesome game and easily the best game of it’s genre since the release of Bayonetta.
I really think #6, #7 and #8 don’t deserve a place in the top 10. :P
Great news for DmC. It’s a cracking game and, in my opinion, the best DMC game yet
I agree with this absolutely brilliant level design.
Yup, agreed. Just a great game all round.
Yep, it’s a fantastic game. I’ve just started on ‘son of sparda’ difficulty.
