For once, the PSN Store update isn’t the most exciting thing about a Wednesday. It’s still happening, though, and there’s plenty to tempt your thumbs this week. Perhaps you’ll even buy something to make the time go quicker between the late afternoon update and tonight’s little shindig over the Atlantic.
[drop2]Well, you could do worse than picking up a copy of Urban Trial Freestyle on PS3 or Vita. It’s a solid stunt bike sidescroller that’s sadly not Cross-buy but it’s under a tenner if you’re a PS Plus subscriber and Aran thought it was worth 8/10 in our review. The Hearthfire DLC arrives for Skyrim at its first week discounted rate of just £1.99. That’s probably the headline DLC in a week that sees more than its fair share of add-on content. There’s the expected raft of LittleBigPlanet packs, some costumes for Battle Royale and a few new game modes for Resident Evil 6 too.
At the more expensive end of this week’s spectrum, there’s a £60 digital release for Crysis 3 and the Vita sees the European release of Persona 4 Golden for £35. Sniper Elite V2 for PS3 and Ragnarok Odyssey for Vita are slightly more affordable, at £30 and £25 respectively and if you’re on the lookout for a bargain, you might want to grab the Oddworld: Stranger Boxx. For £14 that includes the PS3 and Vita versions of the HD remake of Stranger’s Wrath.
There’s a demo on Vita for Sly Cooper and Lumines Electric Symphony goes free today for Plus subscribers.

Best part for me is being quoted in the description for Oddworld: Stranger Boxx. :D
Persona 4 Golden is well worth picking up, one the best games on Vita.

Great psvita week!

Great indeed. I didn’t think P4 would come so soon.

As usual, everytime I see something on the store that I’d like, there’s another handful begging me to buy them too.
I’m definitely going to be skint at the end of today.

I had no idea Ragnarok Odyssey was out this week too!

I honestly couldn’t give two craps about whatever’s going on the US, Persona 4 is finally here! I imported it ages ago, but I might just buy it again so a) it’s always on my Vita and b) Atlus feel the love and keep bringing games over.

Great detailed news about the release of P4G which is one of the greatest games ever:
“and the Vita sees the European release of Persona 4 Golden for £35”

Sounds like a decent price for Urban Trials, might pick that up today.

Been waiting for this I’ve just picked it up there’s also a demo if you feel the need to try it out first think its going to be quite addictive trying to beat people’s jumps tricks cores and times and such. :)

Scores not cores…

Yes, i’ll probably try the demo first to make sure – and i see the Vita version costs a few quid less too.

Very good week for Vita. I already had Persona 4 imported but I’m definitely picking up Urban Trials.
I have mixed feelings about Ragnarok after the demo. It’s a good price and it has interesting systems but the demo gave me the impression it would be quite boring.
Also I don’t normally buy costumes for fighters but I just may pick them up for All Stars.
I really hope EDF has a sale at somepoint because that looks fun but I think it’s at least a tenner too much.

Why is it the US store gets $10 free to spend, and we don’t? Good job I have a US account as well :) what would you spend $10 dollars on in the playstation store?
