Can someone put another 10p in the meter.

As far as I can tell the PSN is offline for unscheduled maintenance, which has rather scuppered my plans for some late night PS Vita Need For Speed: Most Wanted.

The rather handy isthepsndown.com informs me “Yes. Based on recent reports, the PSN seems to be down for all mankind,” and Twitter is full of the usual helpful comments.

“#psn down, Sony you suck right now!!!” says Shaun whilst Martin asks “Am I the only one having problems with #PSN right now? Can’t log into #FIFA online or the #playstationstore? Upgrade going on?”

The official channels have yet to comment on the outage.

    “Outage” or “outrage”?

The twitter-moaners make me laugh. Do something else! Play single player, read a book, or (gasp) go play with some real-life people. Sony don’t want their network down any more than we do, but telling them they suck isn’t helping anyone.

I can get online without problem. Couldn’t get into the store, or sign in to the UK Playstation blog though.

Hmm. Just tried the store and the blog. Both are now working for me. Hopefully, it’s all back now.

No, hold on… You are. It’s just the store for me, I can play Wipeout online on my Vita.
