The rather splendid Telltale adventure The Walking Dead will launch at retail on May 10th across Europe and Australia, after being available to download via PSN and Xbox Live for some months.
The disk-based version will contain French, German, Italian, and Spanish subtitles in addition to the English subs, which is great news for those on the mainland.

This has nothing to do with the fact that if I play through it (and by “play” i mean, let the game run by itself for half an hour before i need to interact, honestly, I went and made my tea and came back and it was still chugging along) I can get my second Platinum.

Only reason i held off is because i prefer my stuff on discs & this was rumoured. If it hadn’t shown up in a few months though, i probably would have done the same as you.

I expect that price to drop rather quickly. Either on release (might be a placeholder price) or a month or so after release. As i mentioned below, i don’t think that there are many like me who are waiting for a disc release – Most that wanted to play it probably already have done.

Yeah, the store version can’t be traded for credit when you are done with it, only deleted.
I don’t doubt this will be £15-£20 within a month or two of release (most people that want it probably already have it tbh).

The game has the same problems as the TV show.. when it’s about scavenging food and people arguing it’s dull as pants. I will admit that now I’m finishing episode 3 it has got much better.
