Four New PS3 / PS Vita Cross-Play Titles Form Part Of US Spring Fever Event

Today sees the start of the PlayStation Store’s Spring Fever event for US PlayStation users. In the coming weeks four new PS Vita/PS3 cross-play titles will be heading to the store.

As part of this week’s store update Guacamalee! will be released, priced at $14.99, with a 20% discount for Plus subscribers. Peter scored Guacemalee! highly in his review, and also had the chance to speak to the studio behind the game.

The next week will see the launch of the old-school game Dragon Tales Book 1, which again offers a decent 20% Plus discount.

Thomas Was Alone heads to the store on the 23rd April, for which Alex tells us why we need to play it, after his experience with the game last summer. Again it will have the same Plus discount. For Europe the game will be free for PS+ members and priced at just over £5 for the rest of us.

In final week of the event Zombie Tycoon 2: Brainhov’s Revenge will launch as part of PlayStation Plus’ Instant Game Collection.

All four games will feature the cross-buy / cross-play ability.

It would be nice to see something similar to this for EU users…

  1. It would indeed be nice to see something similar to this for EU users…

  2. Maybe not directly related to this post. But after a week of trying still cannot the get AR treasure feature to work on Sly Cooper: Thieves in time. Anyone else having the same problem?

Happy to see that there are more games with cross-buy / cross-play ability in the pipeline.

  3. Yes it would.

  4. Thomas was alone is a brilliant game. Europeans are lucky for getting it for free with PS+.
