The Journey Collector’s Edition was made available for download from the European PSN last week, but today Sony have confirmed that the package will also appear on Blu-ray, due to rather obvious “popular demand”.
In addition to Journey, the Collector’s Edition also includes thatgamecompany’s other titles: Flower and flOw. “These are the titles that made the studio’s name and undoubtedly deserve a play,” says SCEE’s Thaddeus Morse, rather understatedly.
The set also includes the following extras:
- 30-minute behind-the-scenes documentary about the making of Journey
- Creator commentary playthroughs of all three games
- Three exclusive mini-games from thatgamecompany
- Concept art and screenshot galleries for all three games
- Original soundtracks for all three games
- PS3 dynamic themes and wallpapers
- Official game trailers and developer diary videos
The Blu-ray will be released “later this year” and will feature exclusive PSN avatars, including new Journey and Flower avatars.

Well, i already own all three games, all three soundtracks and probably the dynamic themes too (is there a flow theme?) – but i’ll be very tempted to pick up the Bluray all the same! :)

Got all these brilliant games(well the main 3 PSN games) but will still buy the Blu-ray :P Because i LOVE looking at my PlayStation game collection LoL:D

I have all the games, but if they put them in a well made and good looking case then as if I could say no.
Besides, in my opinion if anyone deserves my money twice I’d say it’s got to be thatgamecompany.
