SiliconEra have spotted that 20th Century Fox have trademarked the name Alien: Isolation. The registration (listed below) covers a fairly broad range of products and may not necessarily be a video game.
Computer game and video game software; interactive video game programs; video game discs; downloadable ring tones, graphics, computer desktop wallpaper, games and music via a global computer network and wireless devices; computer screen saver software; computer screen saver software; mousepads; decorative magnets; eye glasses; downloadable mobile software applications for mobile communication devices for use in distribution of digital video, video files, video games, and multimedia content
It was 20th Century Fox, not Sega, who also registered the trademark for Aliens Colonial Marines and despite a fairly large number of negative reviews, Aliens Colonial Marines sold rather well. The game has been constantly popping in and out of the charts since its release, just a month ago it bounded back in to 9th place.
I’ve had a bit of a nose round the internet and there is http://alienisolation.com/ but it’s a blank site at the moment and the registrar is hidden.

Registrar is Eurodns S.A and appears to be for eBrand Services BV, who are in Amsterdam.
I’m guessing a domain squatter, rather than Fox.
Still, as someone who ranks the Alien movies high on his list of awesome things, I’ve given up on the idea of a great Alien game. A:CM finally killed it for me..

Everything Alien is usually awesome, excluding Colonial Marines.
