There’s nothing quite like a firmware update to cheer us up. Lots of new functionality, maybe more stability, better backwards compatibility and the like. Whenever we switch on the PS3 and it tells us there’s a system update that needs to be performed, we do little carthwheels of joy. But not yesterday, and this story tells you why.
It seems that our cartwheels were wasted as the latest update didn’t affect European consoles. We only have a finite number of cartwheels in us. It’s not like we can waste them. Unless the next update is A-MA-ZING, we’ll be refraining from doing any cartwheels at all.
Hmph.
