We usually complain about delays because, generally, they are A Bad Thing.
Sometimes though, in rare instances, they can actually turn out to be A Good Thing.
Take Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 for the Sony Playstation 3. You probably thought that it would be pretty simple port of the Xbox 360 version which has been out for ages. You would be wrong. According to Joystiq Team Ninja have crammed in loads of improvements, like new enemies, weapons and camera tweaks. More interesting though is the inclusion of an online co-op mode and two new playable characters, one from the Dead or Alive franchise and one from the Dragon Sword game. Awesome.
So, the 360 got it first but the PS3 gets it better. Domo Arigato Team Ninja!
