We still don’t really know too much about WET other than what we’ve seen in the recent trailer, but it appears that Artificial Mind and Movement are of the opinion that the female character in the game will certainly have some kind of merchanising power. I don’t know where they got that idea, but a recent trademark spotted on the wonderful SA for various kinds of toys would suggest that there’s going to be more to this franchise than just a videogame.
The application lists printed matter, namely manuals, guides, books, comic books, magazines, posters, booklets, leaflets and newsletters; board games and toys, namely mechanical action toys, toy action figures and accessories thereof. An additional trademark class for motion pictures and television series; musical audio soundtracks and recordings, namely on CD-Roms and as digital files downloadable through the internet also exists for WET.
