Jayden reached into his pocket and pulled out the triptocane. He snorted the blue substance and regained his composure. He arrested Mad Jack and left the Scrap Yard.
Day: Thursday
Time: 11:32pm
Weather: Look out the window
Jayden made his way into The Blue Lagoon. The club was large and very well lit but judging by the people on the dance floor, it was exclusive to identical twins and triplets.
He was looking for Paco – the man connected to the blue Chevrolet. He asked a security guy about Paco’s whereabouts. The man was very unhelpful.
JAYDEN: If you don’t tell me where he is I will stop the music and draw everyone’s attention to your mullet.
SECURITY: He’s upstairs.
JAYDEN: Good boy.
Jayden made his way up the stairs and into Paco’s office. The lights were off and he turned to notice Paco tied to a chair with a bullet hole in his head. He went to put on the ARI when all of a sudden he was attacked by a masked man. A fight ensued which saw Jayden and the intruder wrestle around the office. The masked man grabbed a decorative Samurai sword from the wall and began swinging wildly but Jayden had mastered the art of fighting by now.
The fight continued for a few more minutes before Jayden finally started to lose out to the attacker. As the masked man went to flee the scene he had his jacket pocket ripped by Jayden. Despite being deeply upset at having his jacket ruined, the man still fled.
Jayden took a moment to recover from the incident. He stood up, put on his ARI and began to examine the scene.
JAYDEN: ARI Comment: Dead Body. I figured this out for myself. ARI Comment: Fingerprints belonging to Madison Paige. I’m guessing she may have been in this room. ARI Comment: Attacker’s jacket pocket containing two receipts from a gas station. I bet he used this station to refuel his blue Chevrolet.
Jayden left the office but couldn’t find where his attacker had gone. He left the club.
Day: Friday
Time: 6:30pm
Weather: Get over this whole weather obsession
Jayden was in his broom cupboard slash office frantically trying to solve the mystery and catch the Origami Killer. He was angry but you would have never guessed judging by his tone of voice. Maybe that’s what drugs do to you.
Blake entered the office and told Jayden to piss off.
BLAKE: Piss off.
JAYDEN: What?
BLAKE: Ethan Mars is the killer. Done. Dusted. Piss off.
Blake left the office and Jayden knew he was wrong. He entered ARI mode and reviewed the evidence. His glasses had been recording during the fight he had with the masked man and upon further investigation he spotted a gold watch similar to the one that was given to Policemen upon promotion. The killer was a cop. Jayden resisted the temptation of blaming Blake and analysed the situation further.
Having mixed all of the evidence he found that only one Policeman could be the culprit. According to the map, he lived at 911 I’m The Origami Killer Street.
