Gaga For Games?

On Friday we reported that the new shooter ‘Bodycount’ had been inspired in part by Lady Gaga.  Citing her as “a major thing,” Codies developer Stuart Black said, “I saw her at Glastonbury in July,” he said, “and was just blown away by her performance.  The power of it, the creativity.  I found that incredibly exciting.”

It turns out Lady Gaga may be a bit of a game fan as her epic nine minute video for the new single ‘Telephone’ features a rather nasty recipe which includes “1 cup Tiberium”. For those of you in the dark, Tiberium is the mineral that has been mined in the many Command & Conquer games.

What do you think? Does Lady Gaga finish her latest live gig, drag her ridiculous high heels off, grab a Horlicks and settle down for a bit of real time strategy? Or maybe there is a just a geek and the video production company who slipped ‘Tiberium’?

It is worth noting the other ingredients on the list are sci-fi in orgin, Meta-Cyanide is from Dune and Fex-M3 is from Star Wars.

Rah rah ah-ah-ah, Ro mah ro-mah-mah, Gaga Ooh-la-la!
