Speaking to magazine PSM3, Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi reckons the eventual completion of the perpetually delayed fifth edition of the racing simulation series will likely leave him less than happy.
“I’d probably be relieved [to finish development] in terms of having fulfilled my responsibilities,” he says, adding that he “may be angry at the same time,” due to his renown compulsive behaviour. He continues: “As it has been with all of the releases so far, I’m never fully satisfied with what I create.”
We’ll just be happy when you finish it Kaz. Gran Turismo 5 is due for a showing at E3 where it is expected a final, hard, not-going-to-slip-this-time date of sometime toward the end of 2010 will be announced (and then subsequently ignored by Yamauchi-san after he discovers the renders of the leather gear-stick mount on the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG is the wrong colour.)
