We picked up on a story in February that Criterion were working on a new SSX game, rumours started by the Official PlayStation Magazine and shot down tonight in frank form over Twitter.
“I hope the rumors of a new SSX from you guys is true”, asked HawkxSx, which was followed swiftly by Criterion with “False I’m afraid.”
“We’re doing this thing called Need for Speed. It’s all about tarmac not snow,” said the Tweet, dashing all hopes of a Criterion-powered snowboard-em-up. “We just dig SSX for fun…”
