See that photo above, snapped from Famitsu? That’s confirmation that Namco Bandai are bringing God Eater Burst to the PSP which, according to translations from Japan this morning, is an evolved, upgraded version of God Eater.
Burst, which technically won’t be a sequel to the original February 2010 release, will feature a new story, new characters, new creatures and new weapons, with considerable game balancing and better visuals.
If you’re unfamiliar with God Eater, it’s a bit like the wonderful Monster Hunter. You can see the original trailer for the game from last July here, and there’s an extremely popular demo of the game on the Japanese PSN Store, so go and have a look.
