THQ Launches WWE Portal And Community Website

THQ has announced the full launch of the company’s new WWE videogames portal at wwe.thq.com, as well as the official community website for WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 at community.smackdownvsraw.com.  The two sites will feature the latest WWE videogame content, official forums, an exclusive blog written by WWE Superstar The Miz, a Create-a-Superstar application and much more. 

In addition, THQ has also announced the anticipated availability of several new WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 inspired avatars via Xbox LIVE.  The avatars include a number of WWE Superstars, attire options and accessories, including:

  • John Cena – Outfits (Male and Female), Cap
  • Undertaker – Outfits (Male and Female), Hat
  • DX – Outfits (Male and Female), Glowsticks, Cap
  • Edge – Outfits (Male and Female)
  • Randy Orton – Shirts (Male and Female)
  • WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2011 – Shirts (Male and Female)
  • Hornswoggle – Animated WWE Superstar
  • Rey Mysterio – Mask
  • WWE Championship Belt

  5. what about PSN avatars too? you know, those small insignificant pictures that are placed next to your PSN name. I would happily pay out 20p for a WWE themed one. No really, I would.
