Despite not having a Closed Mega Theatre at this year’s Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix have been showing plenty of fresh trailers in their booth, with a strict no-camera rule. But where there’s a will, there’s a way, and someone’s managed to capture thirty seconds of Final Fantasy Versus XIII footage.
The shaky-cam off-screen video shows what looks to be a new trailer comprised of gameplay footage, showing the game’s hero wandering around a bit before facing off against a pretty big enemy in a downtown environment.
The fact that such low-quality footage is even counted is such a big thing shows how desperate fans are for information on the game, whilst Squeenix are staying silent on when we should be expecting it. Oh well. Now go watch that footage before it mysteriously disappears. (Update: it’s gone! Sorry guys!)

Actually, I don’t either, but I think it’s going to be revealed at the Fabulo Novella Crystallis event/press conference in January. I may be wrong though…

I havent touched a main FF game since XII as have gone off the formula. Have little interest in MMO so FFXIV is out as well. I do however love Kindom hearts, Crisis Core and Dissidia and will be watching out for more info on this one with interest.
