Just time to squeeze in the news that a brand spanking new Black Ops advert will screen tomorrow night during the half time advert break in the England vs. Montenegro match. Which is football, I think, something sporty at least.
The sixty second advert will feature never seen before footage from the game and will also be shown on ITV1 HD. As it’s never been seen before footage I can’t tell you what exciting details the advert will reveal but here are some possibilities.
- Shooting.
- The words “Call Of Duty”
- The words “Black Ops”
- More shooting.
- No blood or people being stabbed in the eye – it’s pre watershed.
- Still more shooting.
- Flames
- A gravelly voice over telling you the game is out next month.
- A bit more shooting, possibly in multiplayer.
- Nigella Lawson licking a copy of the game in a seductive manner.
The last guess is a bit of wildcard but you never know.

Don’t care about an advert though – all I want to see is the words “launch day special” in a supermarkets newspaper ad on release day.
