It has been confirmed via LOVEFiLM’s Affiliates site that their movie service will be launching on the PS3 on November 10th, allowing you to stream films via the PSN.
“Good news for all LOVEFiLM members and PS3 owners – our free streaming service is launching on the PS3 on 10th November.
Film fans with a LOVEFiLM membership (including those on a free trial) will be able to stream 1000s of titles for FREE. They can also scroll through titles on the page and search through categories including ‘Pick of the Week’, ‘Most Watched’ and ‘Highest Rated’, so will never be short of a great film to watch.”

I’m really tempted by this, will try the free trial and see how well it works first though as I don’t have the most reliable of connections! It really is the ultimate lazy dream though, all the films without any of the moving to put discs in.

LOVEFiLM have 65,000+ phyiscal movies to rent, they’re online catalogue is around 3,500, of which the latest one’s cost £3.50 to stream, there are plenty of great movies included in the package, but don’t be confused into thinking it rivals their disc based offering though
