Possible GT5 Trophy List Leaked

It’s been an odd day or two for those of us who can’t wait for GT5 news. Apparently it’s been seen in the wild, there are people playing it as we speak and now we have what appears to be the first unveiling of the trophy list. We’re desperately trying to get Sony to step out of the shadows and say something about all this but until they do it’s worth remembering that this all has to be considered unofficial, no matter how compelling the evidence is.

Included in the list are imaginative rewards such as a bronze trophy for completing a one-two finish in a Subaru Impreza WRX STi and a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, as well as another bronze for winning a race by 0.01 seconds or less. Most of the trophies are based on progression through the game, with trophies for training a B-Spec driver and for winning certain series. There are a few hidden ones in there two.

  1. It looks a bit fishy to me. The kind of jokey nature in which some of the trophies are worded (“Buy an insanely expensive car” and then “Buy a seriously expensive car”) is a bit contradictory to the stylish and sleek nature of GT.

    It’s a possibility, and I’d be surprised if some of those trophies [i]didn’t[/i] feature, but I’m going to assume it’s fake for the time being.

  4. Impressive list, I’ll probably never get the game though, for some reason I just don’t like the GT series!

  5. I’m looking forward to how Sony finally announce the release date; with all these sightings etc it’s quite obviously ready to be released.

    Maybe they’ll just come out with a media blitz as soon as the Black Ops assault has finished and say ‘out next week’. I remember reading a while back that one of the (good) Sony marketing guys had said that there’s a series of epic ads for GT5. Can’t be too long before we see them.

  10. I can’t feel a release really soon, that gadget show bloke has a copy of gt5, are all the shops stocked up already an waitin for sony to allow them to release it??
