Want to know how big Mass Effect 2 is from the PSN Store? 12GB, apparently, and that’s seemingly compressed as, according to the Store description, the game needs 24GB of your precious hard drive space to stretch its arms once you’ve downloaded the thing.
We’ve already revealed that the disk-based version requires 4.5GB of your hard drive at least, which EA told us is down to the included DLC, so it’s pretty clear that the PS3 version needs to do some considerable hard-driving to keep the game running nice and slick.
As indeed it does, as our 10/10 review will attest, but then again perhaps it’s worth waiting a little while…

No chance in hell. Took over 3 days to download the DCUO beta. Yes, my internet is powered by an overweight, out of shape hamster with a bent ear and a gammy leg on a wheel.

As Phizzy said, the download is NOT 24 GB. You download the installation file which, logically, weighs 12 GB. After running the installer, your game will use 12 GB of space, and the installer will be deleted.
Wish TSA would check their facts straight.

Agreed. Enough people are still probably discovering this article and a simple change of numbers would prevent any more misleading information being passed.

I have a 320GB but with at least 40GB left. I must delete the rubbish stuff.

24 gig? you’re kidding me.
the 360 version fits on two discs, how does it suddenly take up 24 gigs?
